I have just found a link to a website for local fishing trips- Billy will also organize trips to see the many varieties of wildlife that live in the waters surrounding Millport. I have no info on prices, but if you are interested, why not give him a call?

If you are interested in seeing some of the wild birds, particularly on the uninhabited isle of Wee Cumbrae, there are several boat trips that will take you out to sail around the island .One simply leaves from the old pier every hour, on the hour, and no booking ahead is needed. The other provider is Largs Yacht Heaven ,which can be contacted by phoning 01475 670067. There is more information, prices and some lovely photos to whet your appetite on their website. Another website which promises boat trips for bird watching, fishing or diving is : http://www.cumbraemarine.com/. Again I have not tried these providers, but I would welcome any feed back if anybody else has!
